Celebrating the Founder’s Birthday

Psalm 139:14

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Happy birthday to the founder of Hephzibah Community. This is not just another day on the calendar. It is a holy reminder that God knit her together with intention, that He saw every day of her life before one of them came to be, and that He chose this day as a milestone of grace for all of us.

Birthdays are more than candles and cake. They are an invitation to pause and remember: she is fearfully and wonderfully made. Every detail of her — her laugh, her mind, her compassion, her story — is part of a design that pleases the Creator. He does not make mistakes, and He did not make one with her.

Today, we honor the woman whose yes to God became a doorway of rest, restoration, and sisterhood for so many. Because she said yes, we have a place to gather, a name to call ourselves, and a reminder that God delights in His daughters. Her obedience planted a seed that is still growing in all of us.

Sister, let this be the year you believe the truth your birthday whispers through her: you are worthy, you are loved, and you are called. The world is brighter because she said yes, and the Father surely rejoices over her today.

Prayer

Father, thank You for the life of our founder. On her birthday, remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made. Bless her for the yes she gave You, and let this new year be marked by Your presence, Your purpose, and Your delight over her.

Reflect

  • 1.How has the founder’s obedience shaped your own journey?
  • 2.What is one way you can celebrate and honor her leadership today?
