Restoration Begins Quietly
Joel 2:25“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”
Restoration is rarely loud. It doesn’t usually arrive with a parade. It begins as a whisper in the quiet places of the soul — a softening, a remembering, a hope that dares to breathe again.
If God is moving slowly in your healing, it is not because He is uncaring. It is because He is thorough. He is restoring not just the visible, but the roots beneath.
Trust the quiet work. The years the locust has eaten are not lost to Him. He gathers every tear and every wasted season into His redemptive story.
Prayer
Father, do the deep work in me. I trust You with the hidden places. Restore what has been lost and let me see Your beauty rise from the ashes.
Reflect
- 1.What ‘years’ are you asking God to restore?
- 2.Where might He already be quietly at work that you haven’t noticed?
